Be'eri Moalem was born in
Jerusalem, Israel, and lives in Palo Alto, California. He is a
freelance violinist and violist chamber ensembles (San Francisco Chamber
Orchestra, Classical Revolution, Rossmoyne Chamber Players, quartets at various festivals and universities) rock bands(ZIVA
Band, Halelu Band) and full-scale symphony orchestra (Monterey Symphony,
Fresno Symphony, California Chamber Symphony).
He
studied viola performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of
Music and composition at San Jose
State University. In addition to playing music, Be'eri is also an
avid composer,
writer, and teacher. His hobbies and interests also
include traveling, biking, basketball, gardening, green tech,
vegetarianism, Judaism, wine, politics, history, computers, and what
not.
